34-year-old man committed suicide at Gatunduri village in Embu West following a disagreement with his 42 years old lover. James Mbogo Gitonga body was found hanging on a window. It is alleged that James committed suicide after his lover refused to let him into her house which he was regular visitor. James reportedly hanged himself with the shoelaces.
Reports indicate that James had suspected that his lover was in love with bother man, something that led him to commit the heinous act. The deceased loved is a mother is two nd they were recently planning to marry. The woman took off on realising that angry residents were milling at his home.
A local resident identified as Teresia Njura revealed that the deceased seemed disturbed but failed to disclose who was going on in his life. The deceased's body waas taken Embu Level Five Hospital mortuary as investigations continue.
