A fire incident broke out at Ofafa Jericho School on Monday night, 20th September 2021, at around 9:30 PM.
The fire incident saw property worth millions of money lost and left many students with injuries but none lost his/her life.
Dr Gakombe has now confirmed the number of students who have been rushed to.hospital fir urgent medical attention following the fire incident.
While speaking exclusively to Citizen TV, Dr. Gakombe has reported that 35 boys have so far been rushed to Metropolitan Hospital and are in stable condition whereas some of the students have been moved to MP Shah, Nairobi Women’s hospital and Avenue hospital for medical attention.
"We received 35 boys at Metropolitan hospital. All the boys are safe and are receiving medical attention They are in stable condition. Some students have been moved to MP Shah, Nairobi Women’s hospital and Avenue hospital," Dr Gakombe said.
