According to K24 on Twitter two police officer have caused accident on Nairobi highway casing the driver and both of them injured. The the Wasili tax driverclaimed that the police wanted him pay 1000 shillings for no reason.
The taxi in his reach said," wajamaa walikuja wakanipata kwa gari wakaniuliza kama nimelipa nkaawambia wacha niconfirm kuangalia simu nakapata simu yangu haina credit, wakaniambia haya sawa Kama hauna iingia kwa gari twende kufika kwa round about wakakanyaga break wanakaniuliza unaenda wapi nkawaambia simumeniambia twende, wakaniambia twende Free Area. Nkawaambia sawa tuende kupanda hivi sijui akarukisha mguu tena pande yangu nkamwambia to a mguu wacha nidrive akaniambia wacha nikuue mbwa hii akajaribu kuniskuma pale kwa matatu."
The man also reported that the accident happened when the police accidentally put his leg on his leg while driving as he tried tu struggle with his leg to control the vehicle. The police held the steering and vehicle lost control therefore falling down causing injury to him and police men. Netizens have reacted harshly to this incidence.
