STORYLINE: Sad as Husband Paid Hitmen Ksh.1.5m to Kill Wife

Sad that a woman from Embu county unveiled on how her husband paid hitmen ksh.1.5m to kill her. Lucy Njeri, an athlete explained how he paid the men Ksh 2 million to save her life from the men who had already started strangling her to death as it was planned.

While in an interview with Daily Nation, Njeri explained that with her husband Nelson Ndereba Njeru who was also a runner were residing in Canada before he planned on her murder in Kenya.

Upon realizing of her travel back to Kenya from Canada, Nelson organized with men in Kenya on killing her immediately after arriving Jomo Kenyatta International airport (JKIA).

She told her husband that her brother would pick her up when she arrives at the airport but he pleaded that he had hired a Prado tax to take her home from the airport. Due to her trust, she accepted the offer.

Upon her arrival at the airport, she found the tax ready to pick her up with a driver and a colleague man though she did not bother the other man and she boarded off to her home. Immediately after they got into Mombasa Road, the driver's colleague jumped into the back seat and started strangling her.

That is when they explained to her that her husband had hired them with Ksh.1.5 million to kill her and dump her body in Karuri forest. She pleaded with them to spare her life by increasing the amount to Ksh.2 million.

"I pleaded with them to spare my life and they agreed on the condition that I pay them KSh 2 million,” she claimed.
