Two People Shot Dead In Tsonga, Marsabit

According to news from a local radio station "Radio Jambo" at 1 p.m. Two people have been shot dead in Tsonga, Marsabit.

The incident that took place at night has seen two men die after cattle rustlers attacked their village armed with guns and shot them dead. 192 cows were stolen and the police have promised to search for the Robbers and arraighn them in court to face justice for their criminal activity.

Theft of domestic animals is not a new thing in Kenya especially in places like marsabit where farmers lose their cows as well as sheep and goats from rustlers who steal them and sell to eat vendors. The government however has promised to put a stop to this activities as there is being witnessed a lot of loss of lives in which they say is not necessary.

In the meantime investigations are ongoing as the police try to trace out where the animals could have been lead to and who the criminals are. The area chief has however adviced the local residents to stay calm as the authorities handle the matter.
