Moha Jichopevu says that the GSU Officers who were threatening civilians should not be punished but rather be guided.
"IG Mutyambai, the 12 GSU are human. They were just excited after their graduation. They should not be punished. Vitu zingine mpime kabla ya kuchukua maamuzi. Polisi pia ni binadamu! "
Moha's plea comes a few hours after the National Police Service ( NPS) released a press statement that the officers would face the law for their behaviour in the viral video that has angered millions of Kenyans on social media. According to them, ( NPS) an internal review is ongoing with a view of preferring appropriate measures regarding the incident.
During the 48th Passing-out parade of GSU officers at the National Police College, Embakasi B Campus, Nairobi County a group of 12 boys recorded themselves threatening civilians on what they were to do now that they have graduated. Check out the video below:
