Machakos Governor Doctor Alfred Mutua has dare President Uhuru Kenyatta to mention the thief he claimed he will not relinquish power to. He was speaking to residents of Machakos County where he is campaigning for Maendeleo Chap Chap candidate for the senatorial seat in Machakos.
In his speech, Mutua claimed that the president is right to claim that he cannot let a thief govern the nation. He claimed that he is ready to lead the country to the next step since his score card is quite evident and Kenyans can relate to it.
He further urged Kenyans not to be easily swayed by rhetoric from politicians who are only interested in dividing Kenyans along tribal lines and background. This statements come only a few days after President Uhuru Kenyatta revealed that will not give power to a thief, a statement that many believe was directed to his Deputy William Ruto.
