Seven Suspected Robbers Shot Dead By police After Committing Felony Along Ngong Road

Seven suspected robbers were Tuesday afternoon shot dead by police after committing felony along Ngong Road, Nairobi County.

Ngong Road traffic Police boss Idris Halkaalno say the thugs was trailed from Nairobi CBD where they had robbed four shops and fled towards Westlands heading to Githurai before the shooting incident took place.

"They were armed with four toy pistols and two licensed AK47 rifle. The Seven had committed robbery acts in Nairobi CBD and fled towards Westlands before they were killed at 12pm,” he said.

The latest development comes at a time when Nairobi County is on the spot over the rising cases of Criminal activities.

The suspects are said to have defied police orders and started to shoot at the security officers. It is during the scuffle when the security officers gunned the Seven suspects on the spot.

Their bodies were moved to Chiromo hospital morgue awaiting postmortem and further identification.

The security officers towed their gateway vehicle, white probox of registration number plate KCJ 630T.
