Family in Makueni Asks Government to Help Bring Their Daughter's Body Back From Saudi Arabia.

On multiple occasions, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has intervened in cases involving Kenyans who have perished in Saudi Arabia.

Mike Sonko, the former county governor of Nairobi, has also been instrumental in ensuring that Kenyans stranded in Gulf countries be returned home.

The Cabinet Secretary for Foreign Affairs, Dr. Alfred Mutua, has lately established a helpline for families with relatives stranded in Saudi Arabia or any other Gulf country.

This is because many young Kenyan women have died, while others have returned from the Gulf States severely disfigured or malnourished.

This afternoon, according to reliable reports from the County of Makueni, a family is asking the government for assistance in retrieving the body of their daughter.

Gloria Mutuku reportedly passed away in a hospital in Saudi Arabia, and her family has asked the government for assistance in repatriating her body.

According to reports from Gloria Mutuku's relatives in Makueni County, she passed away on January 1, 2023.

According to reports, she has been ill for the past several months and moved to Saudi Arabia about two years ago in hopes of a better life.

The family has petitioned the government for assistance in bringing their loved one's body back from Saudi Arabia.

In the section below this story, please share your thoughts and ideas regarding this recent development.
