Kangemi is one of the areas in Westlands constituency where several people live and carry out their businesses. Today, Heavy downpour was witnessed in some parts of Nairobi leading to flooding on the road. Residents of Kangemi raised alarm over the situation on one of their roads as water blocked the way.

According to a video shared by the Star news on twitter, locals using bodaboda and bicycle had difficulties in riding along the road due to flooding. School children were also spotted straining to cross the road pleading for help from their elder colleagues.

The water were flooding despite the presence of drainage. Uncollected waste often leads to drainage blockage.
