Possible Reason Why All Chiloba's LGBTQ Friends Skipped His Funeral

Slain LGBTQ activist Edwin Kiprotich alias Chiloba was laid to rest yesterday at his parents home in Elgeyo Marakwet after his murder case made headlines for more than one week.

His celebrity friends and fellow LGBTQ activists mourned him on social media as they condemned the person who ended his life.

At first people thought that Chiloba was killed because of his orientation but later on his alleged lover Jackton Odhiambo confessed that he finished him after he betrayed him.

Kenyans expected to see all Chiloba's LGBTQ friends like Makena Njeri, Mitchell Ntalami among other at the forefront during his final send off but none of them showed up.

Stivo Simple Boy's ex Pritty Vishi was one of the people who attended the funeral and she revealed that none of Chiloba's fellow activists was present.

She called them out for not being true to their friendship because according to her you cannot claim to love someone then miss their funeral.

She posted on her Instagram stories, "When I went to Chiloba's send off I expected to see people that call themselves his friends or so called family to be there but what I saw is not what I expected. Why would you rant and claim that you loved him you you cannot be there to say the last good bye? You all should keep quiet and stop seeking attention.

Possible reason why they avoided the funeral is fear of being judged and blamed for Chiloba's murder because the society is against their orientation. In most villages, what the group is advocating for is unheard of.
