Nairobi hospital has been accused by the family of the late Justus Ondimo,who was a radiotherapy patient at the hospital,of refusing to admit the patient promptly which led to his death.
According to a video recorded by the patient's son Caleb Ondimo,his father was still warm and alive on arrival at the hospital. Caleb further says that the hospital only responded after he started recording the video of which it was too late for his father had succumbed.
The hospital management has denied the accusations of negligence saying that they take all accidents of this nature very seriously and the deceased had been received at the accident and emergency area as Dead on Arrival.
The patient's family are adamant that prompt response upon their arrival at the hospital could have saved their loved one.
The hospital management has send it's condolences to the family offering their full support through counseling and promising it's legal department will thoroughly investigate all the events that led to the the incident.
