Getrude is reported to have been stabbed to death this afternoon by her alleged boyfriend (non-student) using a knife in a hostel well known as 'Peca' a time when the other students were sitting for their end term semester exams. After doing the awful act, the suspect tried to take away his life where he turned against himself and stabbed his stomach. Students who witnessed the scene quickly raised an alarm before he could breath his last and was immediately rushed to hospital where he is now recuperating. According to the doctors report, the suspect is responding well.
It is alleged that the student wanted to divorce her relationship with the said boyfriend something that lacked a good agreement hence turning the boyfriend violent. However, investigations are still continuing to determine the real reason that might have transpired to the act.
Students have therefore been urged to focus with their studies and their future life to come instead of engaging into relationships that are full of loophole's.
Getrude was a first year student taking English and Literature. May her soul rest in peace.
