As cases of criminal activities are being reported each and every day, efforts to ensure that security and safety of Kenyans are observed are underway. Today, Nairobi county governor Hon Johnson Sakaja has made a major announcement to Nairobi residents.

While attending Sunday church service and a fundraiser at AIPCA church in Dandora, Sakaja shared painful story of how his friend was Attacked by gangs.
With an aim to curb crimes, Sakaja has banned street families staying on Nairobi's Footbridges as well as hawkers selling under the places.

Kenyans have shared their reactions Concerning this move some supporting him on this. They also suggested that those dumping citizens living with disabilities at the stated areas should also be banned from doing so.
However, others showed concern on what will happen to the street families who will have been misplaced from the areas.
