Yatta sub-County Police boss Bernard Rono who commented on the arrest said that the suspect is the son of the owner of the land where the facility is located.
On Monday, November 28 morning, the locals woke up to a shocking news that a group of youths had storme the mortuary, stabbed dead bodies and damaged hearses at the morgue.
Mule argued that the owner told him to move away from the land without paying him KSh7 million as ruled by the court.
"The hearse windows are damaged none of them can be hired until they are replaced. One body was attacked badly even the family is here wondering," he added.
Mule argued that the landowner had vowed to kill him on Sunday, November 27 just hours to the incident.
