Are police men supposed to protect citizens or threatening them. Here is a case where police men have been identified endengering a Kenyan's life and robbing him? The Victim has gone under serious loses after being robbed by policemen in a dramatic event. He was driving along Kagio route in Kirinyaga county where he was intercepted by police land cruiser while in his daily duties ferrying farm hay to his multi million estate farm.
According to media, the five police officers who were involved in the case are said to have forcefully robbed the millionaire his 80 thousand shillings which were in the phone and escorted him to an ATM to withdraw for them another 100 thousand.
This according to a police report by the rogue officers claimed that the suspect was allegedly carrying bang but on searching his vehicle, they found nothing.
The CCTV footage from the ATM however implicated the suspect police officers for robbing the man which they were denying before. The victim reported the matter to the county commissioner who called for an identification parade where the five were picked out as persons of interest in the matter. They will be arraigned in court once investigations are complete.
