The 22-year- old went missing on Tuesday at around 11 am and had last been seen at Sarit centre, where he had gone for a SIM replacement.
His family and friends panicked after failing to trace him, prompting them to report the case at a nearby police station.
The young man was reunited with his father, who had arrived from the U.K. to the good news.
His family took him to a local hospital for medical treatment and assessment.
You'll be assigned an officer from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) at the station who will aid you with the case.
If it is a high-profile case, it will be given much priority, with a digital and physical search commencing immediately.
In case the duration of the missing person is long, most families supplement by either searching for the person themselves or even hiring private investigators.
A search in morgues is a common go-to solution, but it is often based on the hope that the person has passed on.
Some individuals also attempt to track their relatives and friends at police stations or hospitals.
