Sprinter Ferdinand Omanyala was among 2,881 recruits who graduated from the Kiganjo Police Training College on Tuesday.

The colorful event was presided over by President William Ruto.
Omanyala was inducted as a policeman in 2021 after joining the athletics team of the National Police Service (NPS).

Among other distinguished personalities who hailed Omanyala at the passing out parade was the National Police Service itself which posted on its social media handle:
“The 25-year-old sensational sprinter has taken up a new role that will see him represent the National Police Service in future track events."
Another outstanding Kenyan who shared praises for Omanyala online was comedian David Ndambuki aka Churchill.
