The residents of Bomet County are not happy at all after what they term as being fooled by the national government. According to one of the spokesperson in a meeting held by the dissatisfied locals, the Sachoran-Kaboson road has taken more time to to even show signs of being constructed. He stated that the company contracted to tarmac the road is too slow and something needs to be done. The company is allegedly to have began leveling the road about six months ago and is now back to zero. " The road is now full of potholes with no sign of even the big lorries doing the construction along the road," one angry resident claimed.
According to the area member of parliament, Honourable Gideon, the construction of the road is ongoing and any delays is being followed up. He urged the residents to be calm as they patiently wait for the road to come into conclusion.
