It is barely some weeks since the Kenya Defense Force (KDF ) were sent on a mission of dealing with the badits who have been causing havoc in Pokot. The KDF have been trying so hard to capture the bandits which seems to be a hard task since despite their presence in Pokot, the residents are still not at peace.

However, some progress have been made following the reports which were ushered by the cabinet minister for interior Kithure Kindiki who said that one renown spiritual leader was arrested following the information that leaked naming him as one of the bandits supporters.

According to the reports, the said spiritual leader has been recruiting young individuals into the cult, training them and linking them with some strong politicians ( who are currently being searched for) who later provides them with weapons.

The suspect is currently held as they hope to get more information from him. The government have on the hand promised to deal with the bandit till they clear all of them.
