Serial killer Masten Wanjala was lynched by residents of Mukhweya village in Bungoma county on Friday October 15th.This was confirmed by area chief Bonface Ndiera who said that the killer was lynched in his home village by angry villagers after being identified.
Wanjala had escaped prison a day before being arraigned at the Madaraka law court on Wednesday October 13th.He was to answer to 13 counts of murder cases.He had confessed to having killed children in Nairobi and other counties.The news of his escape made a lot of parents worried as others feared leaving their children to head to school alone.
His father Robert Wanjala had earlier denied claims of making contact with the escapee and called for the responsible officers to be held accountable.Sadly the slain was spotted playing football by the locals and the angry villagers stoned him to death.Kenyans expressed their mixed reaction on social media while others feeling relief he was finally dead.Drop your comment below,follow and share for more news.
