Alleged Place Where Matatu Drivers Hide Bribes For Corrupt Police Officers to Pick

In Kenya, a lot of people believe that traffic police officers are corrupt. Even though some people might agree, the truth is they police officers are some of the most corrupt people in Kenya.

Since traffic police officers in Kenya are very keen when collecting bribes, they tend to use different methods and even ask for them indirectly.

In a recent report that was shared by a reliable source, a trick commonly used by matatu drivers to offer bribes to police officers has been revealed.

According to the post, clever matatu drivers have adopted the method of using their door handles to conceal bribes. When a driver is approaching a police stop or checkpoint, they hide the bribe in their door handle so that the officers can easily collect it without being seen.

Even though this trick is not new and is probably known by many matatu drivers in Kenya, it is one of the common methods used by police officers to collect bribes.
