"Hey Mum, Nitumie Ksh.2685 Nipimwe Corona", This Is Why You Need To Avoid These Messages

If you are a parent and it happens that you have a son or a daughter in a certain boarding school Institution and so paranoid of them getting contamination from the covid-19 pandemic,then you should be cautious too of the current blackmailers and scammers that are rising taking an advantage of the situation.

Here are the messages the scammers are using to con the desperate parents.The undercover police cop by the name Saigonpunisher James has taken it to Facebook to warn the parents of being much cautious not to lose their cash to these thieves.According to him,he says that the conmen are sending messages saying,"Hey mum,kuna wanafunzi wawili darasa letu wamepatikana na COVID-19 naomba unitumie KSH 2,685 nipimwe, nitumie kea mwalimu OKECH 0740887825 hatutembelewi mum".

These loosely translates to,"hello mum,two of classmates contracted Covid-19, please send me ksh2685 to be tested for the virus".Source screenshot.
