Photos: Elite Police Unit Keeps Guard of WRC Championships in Naivasha

The World Rally Championships are here with us again in Naivasha, of Nakuru County for the next few days as per the calendar that has been released to the public and the participants in the race.

Thousands of Kenyans, as last year, have made their way to Naivasha in what is expected to be a fun filled weekend where the economy of the place will see potential growth in every sector given the number of people there.

This, however, poses a security threat as well as some haven't gone there with the good intentions of enjoying the Safari Rally but to engage in illegal activities.

This afternoon, according to the National Police Service Official Social Media Handle, the elite unit officers are keeping guard of the happenings in Naivasha to deter any criminal activity in the area.

This is to ensure that security of the citizens as well as those that are participating in the race is guaranteed at all times during this period.
