Sources privy to the happenings have revealed that the former Kameme FM journalist had left the country in search of greener pastures in 2018 and met a soulmate and they got married in 2020 with the deceased sister describing the marriage as clandestine since nobody knew the identity of the man.
Things reportedly took a nasty turn after their wedding as Jedidah ceased communicating with the family with friends revealing the husband confiscated her phone and denied her access to it and would monitor every conversation she made on the little moments her gave her the phone.
Details have now emerged of the last phone call that Wambui made and it is being reported that the community Health Administrative assistant made contact with the family on December 22 to wish them a good holiday season.
She however fell seriously ill two days later with the family learning of this through a close friend although attempts to reach her proved futile as her phone went unanswered.
Three days later, the husband called the family to inform them of the demise of their daughter and also claimed to have cremated her body and when he was asked why he didn't inform them earlier, he blatantly replied that it was not important.
