Police in Juja are investigating an incident where a mutilated body of a woman was this afternoon found lying next to an abandoned car in Tola Estate near the Bob Harris/ Railway side, right behind Mangu High School.
The body of the middle aged lady was discovered by residents who were walking by the busy road.
According to sources the body had some deep cuts with questions raised of who she was as no one seemed to identify her.
Police officers from Juja led by the Ocpd Dorothy Megarusha toured the scene where her body was collected and ferried to Thika general kago mortuary.
Residents called for speedy inquest to determine what could have happened to the lady and who killed her in cold blood.
Insecurity in Juja and it's environs has been on the rise with many people losing their lives to some rogue criminals.
Just a month ago detectives gunned down some thugs in the neighboring witeithie area after a botched robbery.
Guns and some deadly machetes were also recovered from the suspects.
