In Athi river, kiambu County hyenas dined on a middle aged man to death leaving only bones and his clothes.The man was said to be in the influence of alcohol when the hyenas attacked him.
The locals said it wasn't the first death and were it not for the alcohol consumption the hyenas would not have attacked him.
The locals have said that hyenas and other wild animals have been habitating in the nearby bushes and are attacking men.
They are even worried for their children who will be going to school.The locals are calling upon KWS to act since the leopards and hyenas are also eating their livestock at night.
This community is living with a lot of fear.
