The Directorate of Criminal Investigations, DCI, quickly sprang into action and launched a countrywide manhunt for Ibrahim Rotich who was arrested later on in Mombasa County.

Ibrahim Rotich, who is solely accused of killing world Champion female athlete, will stay longer in his prison cell after the High Court based in Eldoret today, adjourned the ruling on his bond application for the fourth time because the Judge is on leave.

According to Daily Nation Newspaper, a senior court clerk at the Eldoret High Court confirmed to reporters that the case has been adjourned this afternoon, due to the absence of the presiding judge in the matter, who is currently on leave until May.

Ibrahim Rotich, a 41 year old, did not apparently appear in the Courtroom today, with prison authorities where he is being held, saying that he is under isolation due to his failing health after he is said to have contracted Smallpox while in prison.

He is currently in isolation and is not allowed to mingle with other prisoners until he gets better.
