Young Woman Working in Saudi Arabia Wants to be Repatriated to Kenya, Decries Mistreatment

A 25-year-old Kenyan woman, Patricia Wanja, shared a recorded video of herself crying and pleading with the government to have her repatriated to the country.

From the video shared by Nation, she vented her ordeal saying that she got dazed and perplexed upon seeing a gun on the table of her employer's house.

From being denied access to healthcare, underpaid to receiving threats from her employer, life has become unbearable to her.

Besides, she wants to return back home to see her two children who are currently in a difficult situation.

Most Kenyans and Africans as a whole leave their countries in hope of finding green pastures in Saudi Arabia but unfortunately some of them end up returning home in coffins

Working in Middle East has been part of most African women's dream as they believe it's the only avenue to living a good life and become rich not knowing that they can get what they want in their countries.

From being being sexually harassed, killed to humiliated, in my own opinion Saudi Arabia is not the best place to be because of the recent cases of mistreatment hitting the headlines.
