A Man Is Nursing Injuries For Taking The Call Of Nature In Public

Jared Otieno, a 30-year old man is being held in police custody in Kakamega for assaulting a 24-year-old victim who was responding to a call of nature.

“The victim had taken a leak at a public place oblivious of a clear warning inscribed on an adjacent wall, “Kojoa Hapa Uone!”. No sooner had the victim finished his business than Otieno emerged and rained blows on his face, totally disfiguring his jaws and leaving him with a black eye,” police report read.

Eyewitnesses tried to cool Otieno from causing a fracas but their efforts bore no fruit as the culprit took the law into his hands. These made the onlookers to call the police from Kakamega Police station who swinged into action in a matters of minutes.

“As the suspect was ushered into a waiting police land cruiser, the badly injured victim who could not open his mouth due to the extent of his injuries, was rushed to Kakamega General Hospital for specialized medication,” the police report added.

The suspect is currently being held at the Kakamega Police station awaiting to be arraigned in court.
