Of late we've been receiving cases of suicide among our fellow comrades due to unknown circumstances. Maybe some of us are going through very hard situations and fail to explain the story to people who can help them. They find suicide as the only option, something that leaves us in a shock and sadness.
As we talk right now the University of Nairobi has been thrown into deep mourning following the death of a student from Upper Kabete Campus. The girl Kendi was a fifth year student pursuing Bachelor of science in Veterinary Medicine. Her body was discovered after two days in Tana B hostels after the other comrades realized Kendi's absence. News reveal that she used a rope to hang herself and didn't leave any letter to explain the reason for committing suicide.
May her soul rest in eternal peace. Kendi,as comrades we loved you so much and you'll remain in our hearts forever. To her family, may God give them peace and comfort at this difficult moment.
