Mixed Reactions As A Man Reportedly Withdraws 28,000Ksh Sent To Him By A Wrong Number

A man identified as Elijah Thomas was reported to have received and withdrew 28,000Ksh sent to him by a wrong number.

According to a Facebook post by Joyann Muniu, his father had attended to send the money to his brother but unfortunately ended up sending it to the wrong number.

They tried reversing the money but found it had already been withdrawn. The suspect later switched off his phone making it difficult for them to reach him.

The matter has already been reported to Nanyuki police and investigations are currently underway.
