The Kenya power and lighting company KPLC has this morning on their twitter account announced long hours of blackouts in the following areas due to maintenance services that will be going on from this morning.
1. Nairobi county from 9.am to 5.pm
The braeburn schools, oak place, Ridgeway road, jacaranda close, paa ya paa, kigea road, garden estate road, samaki drive, mountain mall, blue springs, Homeland and the adjacent customers.
2. Machakos county from 9.am to 3.pm
Kitooni area: kitooni secondary, kitooni market, kathama.
Mbilini and Sengani areas: mbilini market, kyeni resort,kikambuani market, kwa ndiu, masaweni, Sengani girls, kinyui girls and the adjacent customers.
3. Bomet county from 9.am to 5.pm
Singioroi, chebunyo and emarti areas And all the adjacent customers will be affected.
4. Mombasa County.
Parts of mombasa island; makande primary school, mwangeka bar, kaluworks, Kenya blanket, cook N lite, mombasa maize millers, kingorani and the many adjacent areas.
Likoni area; Kenya ferry, base titanium, likoni police, manyatta hospital, peleleza, national youth services, Kenya navy, and parts of mtongwe.
Parts of changamwe; slape shoe factory, sportsman, kemsa, mombasa water and sewage,simba, apparel.
5. Kwale county
Tiwi and kombani areas will be affected.
