DCI are on man hunt on a man filmed beating a suspect tied on an electric post. In a video that has circulated online a man is seen beating a suspect while having a mosquito net with fire splashing over the suspect. It is not yet clear what crime did the suspect commit, but it against the law to do such unhumane act on a person.
Through its statement to the media DCI said that, "The inhumane punishment meted on the victim on suspicion of having committed a crime it is not only callous but uncalled for and an affronts to the victims fundamental right and freedom."
DCI has issued a warrant stating that the man filmed beating the suspected person to present himself to the nearest police station within 24hours failure to which he will be declared a dangerous and wanted criminal.Photo:Courtesy
Adding that a special team has already been drawn from Crime Research and Intelligence Bureau, Special Service Unit and the Operation has been assembled in order to help to arrest the suspect.
