"Please Come Out" Police Plead With Dead Tirop's Hubby To Surrender

Kenyan police said on Thursday they were asking the husband of distance runner Agnes Tirop, a two-times World Championship bronze medallist who was found dead at her home, to come forward.

Police said on Wednesday that Tirop appeared to have been stabbed in the neck with a knife.

The 25-year-old represented Kenya in the 5,000 metres at the Tokyo Olympics and finished fourth in the finals.

After the shocking ordeal, the rogue hubby reportedly called his own parents and requested them to forgive him for his actions.

This information proved to be useful as detectives intensified their search for missing Tirop.

She was discovered dead on her bed with blood all over her bed, detectives said.

Many across the world have expressed their shock after leaning of Tirop's death.

Many including the president Uhuru kenyatta have sent their messages of condolences to her family.

Currently, detectives are yet to arrest her hubby who has switched off his phone and can't be located.
