Business was brought to a standstill in Kitale Town, Trans Nzoia County as armed thugs riding on a motorcycle, shoots, rob an Asian trader in an incident that has happened today evening at around 4pm according to police report. The incidents left the onlookers in shock with a witness to the incidence informing that the thugs then left on motorbike after shooting and leaving the businessman injured.
Kwanza subcounty police commander James Odera while confirming the incident, revealed that the three thugs accosted the Asian businessman and robbed him off unspecified amount of money.
"The three suspects on a motorcycle entered the shop that sells motorcycles spare parts and other accessories at about 4 pm and demanded money. They shot the businessman, took the money and escaped on a motorcycle," Odera said.

The police have concealed the identity of the businessman for security purposes. At the time of writing this report, no arrests had been made.
