Incidents where Kenyans have been drugged the Mchele Gang have been on the rise with the government doing its best to ensure that the culprits are brought to book.
This morning, according to the available reliable reports, a renown businessman from Kagio Town in Kirinyaga County is said to have been drugged by two women of the night.
Relatives said 59 year old, Samuel Irungu had been seen in a local bar on Wednesday night where he was enjoying drinks with two young women.
The businessman later on bought takeaway beers and retreated with the women to his house in the same town, where they continued merrymaking.
But the two women allegedly drugged him and robbed him of an unknown amount of money as well as other property from his home before they took off unnoticed.
Mr. Samuel Irungu’s wife, who is known as Monica Wambui, said that she was just as shocked as everyone else when she learnt of the death of her husband.
On Thursday morning, as per the reports from the family members, they found the stark-naked body of Irungu on his bed with his clothes carefully placed on a table.
