Three people have drown and three others rescued following a boat accident at Arongo beach in Seme, Kisumu County.
A search is currently under way to find two others who are still missing after the horrifying night odeal.
Sources indicate the boat was ferrying several people when it was involved in the bizarre accident killing three on the spot.
These accidents have been so common of late with many, a majority being fishermen losing their lives to these horrible accidents.
It still remains unclear as to what could have led to the incident, police officers and divers are currently at the scene.
Two people who are also feared dead are being searched in the deep waters after the night ordeal.
According to CitizenTVKe this is not the first time innocent lives have been lost at the same Arongo beach.
Its the highest time that kenya maritime authorities intervene and make sure some if these boats being used are good for the waters.
Otherwise more lives will continue being lost under the same circumstances.
Many across the internet have expressed their shock and deepest condolences to the family and friends of the three who drowned to death.
