Alfred Wafula Mang'oli, a 40-year-old man in Trans Nzoia county was stabbed to death by a jealous man who sneaked into his ex-girlfriend's house in the morning. The incident also left the deceased girlfriend with injuries and is currently recuperating at a hospital in Kitale town.
The deceased who works as a driver had visited his girlfriend Joan Sirengo who works in a restaurant in the Mitime area, Matias ward where they spent the better part of the night on Tuesday. On Wednesday morning, Alex Okelo Mukholo secretly made his way into the house at around 5:00 am, he stabbed the man severally in the chest killing him.
At the time of the killing, the woman who caused the love triangle was taking a bath in an outside bathroom not far from where the ordeal took place. After taking her bath, the man stabbed him leaving her in a critical health condition. The deceased body was ferried to Kitale Referral Hospital as the lady was taken to the same facility for treatment. The suspect fled the scene after causing the harm and is currently at large.
