Last Friday on February the 13th, Kenyans were shocked to learn of the sudden disappearance of a young girl from University of Nairobi.
Reports indicated that Katerina Jurgen was last seen at his Ruaka residence on Friday midday just before she left for Nairobi's CBD. Efforts to reach her via phone were unsuccessful after her phone went off prompting her mother to make a public plea to members of the public.
Her mother Esther Githendu went ahead to ask anyone with information to come forward and help solve her daughter's whereabouts.
Githendu is now a happy Mother following new reports indicating that her daughter, who is studying a bachelor's degree in economics and statistics has been traced at Thika road and is fine.
At the time of writing this article, it was not immediately established whether her disappearance was deliberate or it was a case of kidnapping. We thank God she is safe.
