The intriguing life and later death of Daniel Ndutire Gucoma seems to be straight out of a movie scripts as the family has been dragged into his criminal life. The deceased man is said to have had a criminal past exceeding over 5 years where he terrorized his victims with the help of his wife and mother.
According to K24 digital news platform, the wife known as Susan Wangare was arrested after she was positively identified by a robbed victim along Riara Road off his new Toyota Harrier vehicle at gunpoint before dumping him in a forest. The car was tracked by Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) officers and found at the couples compound with changed registration number plates. Daniel and the wife were charged at Makadara law courts but later released on bond where they absconded court.
The mother to Daniel, Mary Wanjiku Nditure was also identified as a criminal after being arrested for hijacking a lorry with number plates KBV400K loaded with electronics worth over 60 million and hid it at her home in Kiambu in 2015. She was arrested and charged but jumped bail and went into hiding.
