Police in Uasin Gishu are investigating an incident where a wife to one Kenya Defence Forces (KDF) officer was murdered in cold blood. The wife is reported to have been killed by a man who pretended to be a guest at their home before torturing her to death.
The mother who was expecting a baby in a few months time welcomed the visitor who according to the area chief had milk and break. He acted in disguise to blind the deceased who did not suspect his intentions. The man then attacked her by stabbing her using a knife thirty times before gouging out her eyes.
The KDF officer arrived home after the sad news. He could not believe the beastly act done to his wife by the man who residents say they do not know his whereabouts. The Chief, David Samoei, says that the man had earlier been spotted talking to the deceased and afterwards taking tea in the home.
Police have launched a manhunt for the man who is still on the run.
