Deputy president William Ruto has donated Ksh 300,000 to the family of the late lawyer Evans Monari.
This was confirmed by Kitutu Masaba constituency Member of Parliament Honourable Mose John Shadrack as he addressed mourners on Sunday.
"I would like to confirm to the mourners that I have received ksh 300,000 from His Excellency the deputy president William Ruto. I also have his message of condolences to the family of the late Evans Monari."MP Shadrack John Mose noted.

The burial of the late Evans Monari was held on Sunday 17th of October after almost two weeks after his death at the Nairobi Hospital where he was receiving treatment.
Firing the burial, it emerged that the late lawyer Evans Monari wrote his own tribute and eulogy. It was read out today by Solicitor General Kenedy Ogeto at the funeral service hosted at Nairobi Central SDA Church.
Monari battled a long illness and on Monday, October 4, 2021, he passed on after being hospitalized at the Nairobi Hospital’s Intensive Care Unit (ICU) where he was battling multiple complications of internal organs.
