Road Accident

"RIP" See What Has Happened Along Wote-Machakos Highway Leaving Two Families Mourning

Death has "visited" two families in Makueni county after a motorbike has collided with a lorry along the Wote-Machakos highway. According to the latest news by Musyi FM radio station, this motorbike which was carrying two people accidentally met this lorry heading to Wote town.

The bodies of these two are now in Makueni referral hospital waiting to be buried. Makueni county police boss Joseph Ole Napeiyan has also confirmed this news and urged all drivers to be careful using busy roads to avoid losing their lives.

This comes a day after a Matatu was involved in another accident along the Nairobi-Garissa highway where many people who were affected were secondary school students. Death cases are increasing exponentially, and this means that the government through the ministry of transport should come up with new rules to govern all passenger service vehicles. Traffic police should also fasten their belts along our roads because careless driving has become a national anthem in our country.
