Sad As 116 Residents Left Homeless After This Happened to Them

At least 116 residents of Westlands' Kitisuru ward braved the cold night on Friday, December 16, after their homes were destroyed by a raging fire. This is according to a report from Kenyans co.ke. The source also revealed that,

The inferno, the cause of which was unknown, woke the residents from their slumber.

During the night inferno, property of unknown value was destroyed, leaving hundreds of Kaptagat village families homeless as they prepared for the Christmas festivities.

On Saturday morning, December 17, Area Member of Parliament Tim Wanyonyi rushed to the scene to console the fire victims and offer his relief donation.

Wanyonyi provided mattresses, blankets, and food to fire victims and promised to do everything in his power as the area MP to improve their living conditions. He also promised to reduce the number of fires in the ward.
