Police in Bungoma County are in hot pursuit of a suspect who stabbed to death his relative and fled.
A 52 years old man was been stabbed to death by one of his close relatives over unknown issues.
The suspect later on disappeared into thin air after committing the heinous act and a manhunt to arrest him are ongoing.
Milo location Chief Emmanuel Wanjala confirmed the incident that he termed very unfortunate.
"He is dead, he suffered multiple stab wounds that left him bleeding profusely, efforts to resuscitate his life was fruitless," he said.

He averred that the deceased was found sleeping in a pool of blood after he suffered the major stab wounds.
The administrator stated that four people were seated together beating stories as they enjoyed tea, then one of their relatives joined them they differed over unknown issue.
"During the altercation, little did they know that the new guest was on a mission, he picked a kitchen knife well starved in his waist and stabbed the deceased several times," said the Chief.
Wanjala warned people against taking action on their hands after differing with other people.
"The suspect who is on the police radar has completed his mission but he will have to pay it in the hard way possible, he will run but won't hide forever," he noted.
The administrator stated that after killing him, the terrified people who were with the deceased reported the incident to the chief and police.
The body was later ferried to Webuye County Referral Hospital mortuary for preservation as they wait for a postmortem to establish the real cause of death.
