The Independent Electrical and Boundaries Commission (IEBC), which is headed by Wafula Chebukati, has been spearheading the tallying, verification, and announcement of the results for each voting state across the nation.
But three days after the voting day, the commission has still not received 100% of the Form 34s.
This is despite the response from media houses a few days ago that the Kenyan delegation had dispatched merchants to facilitate the presentation of all forms to the delegation at the Bomas of Kenya more quickly and effectively.
According to the most recent update made by the IEBC Form 34 Portal, a total of 46,206 out of 46,229 forms have been uploaded as of today at 1803 hours. This means that 23 forms from six counties, including Wajir, Tana River, Nandi, Narok, Kakamega, and Garissa, have not yet been made available to the commission. A total of 595 out of 610 forms have been filed in Wajir County, accounting for 97.54% of the forms from the area. Only one form in Tana River has not yet been submitted.
927 out of 928 forms have been submitted in Nandi County, and 884 out of 885 forms have been reviewed and uploaded in Narok. Finally, 557 out of 559 forms have been uploaded in Garissa, while 1682 out of 1685 forms have been uploaded in the last county, Kakamega.
