Police are still investigating a matter in which a Maasai Mara University student was found dead and her body decomposing in one of the guest rooms in migori County. The body being found just a few days after the family of the late reported that she was missing.
According to the police the room in which the university is student was found contained several documents that the police believe will lead into identifying what could be the possible cause of her death.
Police discovered a tissue paper with a name of a popular pastor from the Seventh Day Adventist Church written on it. It is still unclear the association between the lady and the church Elder.
Also found was a syringe and quinine which is believed to have been injected into the system of the lady. Also found was a school identification card belonging to the University student whose body was badly mutilated.
