One police officer has penned down an emotional message after the "Guns Galore" story done by the Citizen Television investigative journalist. In the the exposé, one officer was implicated. The story which has since been circulating on social media sites has been received differently by Kenyans including Police Officers.
The officer said the guns galore is a story whose thought process was intended to paint negatively the image of officers who are working and committed to the Service. He says It couldn't be any more obvious, how the journalist has went through Nairobi and its environs looking for proof which according to him aims at tainting the NPS and the KDF images. He said that is is ironical how the journalist is negatively exposing those who protect her.
He added that, Kenya has more than 100,000 cops who work and safeguard the country with their sacrifice and sometimes offering to die for their country.
He said Kenya is protected by these security personnel. The officers need to be cheered in a period like this and not to be jeered. He wondered why when the devoted police administration is working day and night to see that the whole nation wins the battle against the Covid-19 pandemic another person is trying to demoralize them.
"When will the good and victorious stories of our officers be aired?" He asked.
