Mr Francis Kiambi Kiriro, a well known business tycoon was found dead in his room after he had an altercation with his wife after she refused to his guarantor in securing Ksh 2 billion loan.
According to the deceased's wife, they arrived home late from an entertainment joint where they had gone to have fun but everything turned worse after she refused to be his husband's guarantor in securing a loan.
She claimed that they spend the night in different rooms only for her to wake up in the morning and found her husband's lifeless body lying on the bed.
She immediately alarted the area police officers who arrived at the scene immediately and confirmed the incident.
The business tycoon had vied for the Tharaka Nithi County senatorial seat but was unsuccessful.
The body of the deceased was taken to Lee funeral home as the investigations into the incident continues.
